Jeff Morris brings over 30 years of experience as an educator, coach, and mentor, with a deep commitment to helping students grow academically, athletically, and personally. As the founder of THE PREP, an innovative program designed to support student-athletes, Jeff has guided nearly 200 students over the past 7 years, helping them develop the skills necessary for success in both school and sports while preparing them for admission to some of the region’s most prestigious private high schools.

Jeff holds Master’s degrees in both Teaching and Educational Leadership and is certified as a principal. His background in mathematics education at Fair Lawn High School, where he also served as an advisor to the National Honor Society, reflects his dedication to academic excellence. Jeff’s approach goes beyond simply nurturing intellectual achievement—he fosters holistic development by integrating academic rigor with personal growth, teaching students not just to succeed in school but to thrive as individuals. He believes in equipping students with the tools they need to excel both in the classroom and on the playing field.

With experience as a fitness trainer and youth coach, Jeff has a unique understanding of the value athletics plays in shaping young people. His dedication to helping student-athletes develop strong character, discipline, and resilience is evident in his role as the creator and director of the All Star Basketball Program, which offers weekly winter clinics for athletes with special needs. He finds great fulfillment in seeing Prep students actively contribute to these clinics, mentoring and working alongside exceptional athletes to make a positive impact on their community.

Jeff’s leadership philosophy is grounded in values of teamwork, perseverance, and lifelong learning. As a recreational endurance athlete and advocate for causes like The Alzheimer’s Foundation and FACES (Epilepsy), Jeff continues to embody the principles of hard work, compassion, and commitment.

In addition to his professional work, Jeff is an avid reader, passionate about continuous growth and education, and devoted to shaping the next generation of student-athletes—helping them not only achieve in academics and athletics, but also develop into confident, capable young adults.
