The Prep students explored downtown Ridgewood for lunch time before our meeting at @excelptnj with Robert Egermayer. Robert shared his journey growing up in the Big Easy, earning a soccer scholarship, and how his trials and struggles helped him develop the strength to find his calling as a physical therapist. PT student Hamani gave insight into what the licensing and coursework look like, and Robert described the reward he gets from working with and rehabilitating patients. We also received some important tips for our student athletes on listening to and knowing their own bodies in order to produce the greatest results while reducing injury risk- Thank you Robert and Hamani!
