This past Friday we had a unique experience as we continued to explore career fields with a visit to the My Case Builder factory. Owner Steve Holand shared his entrepreneurial story growing a family business, utilizing his computer science background, and creating a company where you can design and order a custom case for anything you need. Steve’s passion and enthusiasm were radiant as he gave us a tour, showing us how a custom case is made: Our own episode of ‘How It’s Made’! Steve also shared valuable lessons on how to grow a small business like this; how to price, make your own luck, the importance of customer service, valuing employees, and more.
