This past Friday we had a very productive day as we spent the morning learning about building and renovating homes with Christian Tirone. Chris shared his story of how his enrichment year before high school (before it was a thing) was the key to his success as a student athlete; excelling as a Division 1 football player, and on to building a successful construction business. We then spent time at the Morris Museum noting some very interesting exhibits. Highlights included a video art display, Native American artifacts, dinosaurs, minerals, a mega train setup, and some large graffiti done by local street artists. I was impressed with some of the feedback the students gave discussing the exhibits they saw. Lunch in downtown Morristown was a perfect finish to the day.
